Applications of Ranprex® in Thermoforming

Following numerous trials and comparative tests with other composite materials in the aerospace, aeronautical, automotive and railway sectors, Ranprex® has become widely used for the production of thermoforming molds. In particular, thanks to the material’s resistance to high and low temperatures, as well as its excellent wear-resistant properties and dimensional stability, it is used for the thermoforming of carbon fiber and polycarbonate, as well as for cold bending of sheet metal and thin metal sheets. It proves to be a valid alternative to aluminum.
