WHAT IS RANPREX®
Extremely versatile composite wood, insulating, with excellent mechanical characteristics for several types of application
RANPREX® is a red beech laminate made of selected wood species, impregnated with patented thermosetting resins, pressed at high pressure and temperature.
It is a compact, very resistant material, with different specific weights, suitable for the most varied technical-industrial applications. The fiber arrangement and the specific weight can be adapted to the applications as well as to Customers’ requirements.
It is an excellent electrical and thermal insulator, boasts excellent physical and mechanical characteristics of resistance to compression, bending and impact.
Versatile, self-lubricating, very resistant to wear, it has an exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures.
