Hi-Tech Laminated Densified Wood
RANPREX® is used as planks (skid blocks) for racing cars, because of its excellent resistance to wear. Moreover, it grants lower costs if compared to other composite materials.
On paramotors and ultralight aircrafts, Ranprex® is used to obtain either propellers with excellent mechanical properties, as also hubs for adjustable propellers with carbon fiber blades. Additionally, in this specific type of hubs, we can also replace aluminium, which - despite its good mechanical properties - has higher specific weight and is less easy machinable.
Thanks to its good mechanical properties of flexion, Ranprex® is used to manufacture parallel bars and rings for gymnastics equipment.
Finally, Ranprex® is also used as rifle butts for different shooting disciplines.
